When I got the car in July of 2001:
- The engine and transmitoin wher removeded but came
with the car.
- I took the engine to be rebuilt at Chesterfield
Engine

- Eldebrock 600 carb. After getting the car running
I discovered the 14" rims would not clear the front calibers so I went
to Bell Tire and bought a set of 15" BF Goodrich tires and tork thruster
rims.
- I had problems with the headers over heating the
starter so I put in a mini started to solve the problem.
- That august I had the car on Woodward.
- That winter I decideted to install a 700R4 transmition
and an
- aluminum custom built drive shaft and
- autolight gages. This added more power in first
gear and lower RPM's on the highway. However
- it allso created wheel hop when I mashed down the
throttle. so
-
The next whinter I installed:
- 1969 Five leaf rear springs
- a new set of front springs
- with the puchase of a parts car I got:

- a 1967 stearing wheel
- a power brake booster. and
- new carpet.
- The following summer I bought:
- the RS hide away headlights and
- a SS hood.
-
In 2006 Mike Beck of Universal
Auto Service (586) 716-5677 and I installed:

-
Later on Mike talked me into
installing:

- Eldlebrock Air Gap intake
- 16:1 roller rockers
- a new alluminum radiator from Supiorior radiator
- a new trans cooler
